Aura uses email and password. Sessions stay in the browser until you sign out or they expire.
Passwords and access
Forgot password, admin set-password, reset links, and what members can delete.
Overview
Forgot password
- On Sign in, choose Forgot Password.
- Enter your email (the form can carry over what you already typed).
- Open the message and follow Reset your password.
- Land on Aura and choose a new password.
Reset mail needs a real inbox. Addresses like name@example.com are rejected by the mail provider. For those users, an Admin should use Set password.
Admin: set a password
On another user's Profile (not your own):
- Settings — Users — open the name.
- Set a specific password.
That updates Auth on the server. The service key never runs in the browser.
Admin: send a reset link
Same profile, Send a reset link. The teammate gets the same recovery email as Forgot Password.
Both actions require the caller to be an Admin. Members cannot change anyone else's password.
Change your own password
Sign out, then Forgot Password. There is no Set password control on your own profile.
Who can do what
- Signed-out visitors only see sign-in / reset screens. They cannot read CRM tables.
- Members work in the same modules as Admins. Settings → Access sets All vs Own for View, Edit, and Delete on Account, Contact, Program, Task, and Note. Admins always have full access.
- Own means Success manager (or the note author). Deletes from the record trash icon go to the recycle bin.
